Delete your MoodOrbit account

You can delete your account and all data we hold about you at any time. There are two ways — both are free, and neither requires giving a reason.

Option 1 — In the app (instant)

1. Open MoodOrbit and go to the You tab.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm by tapping Delete my account.

Your profile is anonymized immediately, and all remaining data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — By email

If you can no longer access the app (lost phone, changed number), email privacy@moodorbit.app from any address and include the phone number you signed up with. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by GDPR Article 17.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (vibe name, language preferences, consent records)
• Your mood journal and check-in history
• Your saved connections and gratitude messages
• AI conversation metadata (conversation content is never stored in the first place)
• Your phone number and authentication data

Voice calls and text chats are never recorded or stored, so there is nothing to delete there — they disappear the moment they end.

What we may keep, and why

If your account was involved in a safety report, we may retain the minimum moderation record (report metadata, not conversation content) for up to 2 years, as described in our Privacy Policy §7. This is a legal-obligation exception under GDPR Article 17(3).
